Prof Dr Ralf Wandmacher is CFO and COO of 21X AG, the first EU-regulated trading and
settlement infrastructure for digital assets.
In addition, Ralf Wandmacher is a Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship at accadis
University of Applied Sciences in Bad Homburg, Germany. His research focuses on Blockchain
Finance – Cryptocurrencies and their Asset Management, STOs, Tokenomics, and the
Tokenization of Assets.
Further professional experiences include building and managing a crypto arbitrage hedge
fund on the platform of AKJ and being the CEO of a StablR, a regulated stablecoin project in
Europe.
The experience of Prof Dr Ralf Wandmacher is building on more than 20 years of experience
in derivatives trading, structuring, and sales at Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank in Europe.
Prof Dr Ralf Wandmacher achieved a PhD in Finance in Implied Volatility theories from the
University of Cape Town, South Africa 1999. He was awarded the title of Diplom-Kaufmann in
business administration from the University of Goettingen with a thesis about Neural
Networks in 1995. Initially, he built up commercial experience during a two-year vocational
training at Deutsche Bank AG in Bremen, Germany, from 1989 to 1991.
