I am the Chief Information Security Officer at Kaufland e-commerce, leading international teams and shaping cyber security strategy in one of Europe’s most dynamic digital retail environments. With more than 15 years of experience in corporate and IT security, I focus on building resilience, aligning security with business strategy, and ensuring that security becomes a true enabler for growth and trust not just a compliance exercise. My leadership style is human-centric. I believe in creating environments where people feel safe to grow, empowered to take ownership, and inspired to go beyond their comfort zones. To me, resilience in business and security always starts with resilience in people. Community and connection are central to how I work. As the organizer and host of https://securitymeetup.de, I bring security professionals together across Germany to share knowledge, spark ideas, and support one another. These meetups are more than events – they are platforms for collaboration, creativity and visibility in our industry. I am also deeply committed to diversity and female empowerment in cyber security. Having started my own career outside of IT, I know what it means to take an unconventional path and challenge stereotypes. That’s why I actively mentor, speak, and advocate for women and underrepresented groups in tech, because I believe our industry can only thrive when every voice is heard and every perspective valued.
